If firewalking has been enjoyed by millions of people, from all walks of life
since unrecorded time, then there must be something in it. If not, then why on
earth would anyone want to walk over read hot coals again and again?
Firewalking is a powerful and enjoyable process and works on all 3 life
levels:
- Body - Healing, Joy, Fun
- Spirit - Connect on a deeper level with spirit (in your own way)
- Mind - Personal achievement, breaking though barriers
Some people may only focus on one or two of the three, but either way,
the process is good for you and can help to assist in many different aspects. If
nothing else then its just pure fun.
There is no historic right or wrong way to firewalk. Different cultures
have firewalked in different ways and for different reasons. For example, in
some tribes only the men walk and in others only the young girls. Healers
walk the fire to gather the energy to perform healing or help manifestation
for the village. The Normans walked over red hot chains and the Hawaiian
Kuna's walked on lava flows. In this day and age we walk for many different
reasons, and always for positive intent.
The big question, of cause, is 'will I burn?'. Millions of people have
walked across red hot coals and not burned. If most people got burned then
firewalking would not have been practiced for thousands of years and
certainly not in this day and age. Some people can and do get small burns,
however, this is a small percentage. We take every measure to give you the
information you need to walk across safely.
Its hard to predict what you will get out of the fire. Its different for
everyone, but what is certain is that the fire will move you in some way
When you attend a firewalk you are under no obligation to walk. You will
receive the joy and the healing whether you walk or not. This is not a 'I must
prove myself' process. Its a 'I learn more about myself' process and sometimes
the bigger lesson is in listening to yourself.
Use the power of the fire... its there for you.
